I don't know, the Windows partition management utility doesn't specify it when you format, the value displayed is "Default".

But if you want to format via "Computer", the pre-selected allocation unit size is "256 kilobytes".

^ the error message in kernel code (drivers/scsi/sd.c) suggests the 256kb size is the issue so I'd suggest reformatting the drive to use at least 512kb or perhaps 1024kb and then restest to see what happens?

Still the same problem: the disk is not visible in LibreElec (empty /media/ folder).

I chose 512 Kb for the block size, and saw that there were small files in the ./actors/ folders.

Can you retest with a current nightly image .. I believe the kernel should be newer than 6.1 by now. Let's see if that changes anything..?

Indeed, it seems to be a more serious problem.

I'll test it with another OS on RPI 4 and see what happens. If the problem persists, I'll ask for another refund.

Indeed, the disk is powered but invisible by the system with another OS (TwisterOS).

I'll look into getting another product.

New case and ... IT'S FINALLY WORKING (or almost)

Sometimes the system doesn't start up (black screen), but when it does, the disk is immediately functional.

I'll try again with the stable version of LibreElec (I was using LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-11.0-nightly-20230903).

Everything seems to be running smoothly. I had a slight freeze at the disk connection, but when I rebooted, everything worked as expected.

Now I just need to transfer my movies and settings.

I'll come back at the end to "solved" this issue. In any case, thank you all for the help, I wouldn't have found it on my own.

Hello everyone,

I've been using the RPi version of LibreElec for a few days now. So far, I haven't really encountered any problems (at least, not more than with the PC version).

All I need to do now is configure the box (Argon ONE), but I've seen that the script can be used (via SSH?).

So I'm closing the subject, thanks to all those who have contributed, I'd never have found it.
