[8.0.2c] LibreELEC 8.0 builds for KI Plus / KII Pro / KI Pro

  • afl1 I'm confused about the wrong remote.conf bundled in the first build of 8.0.0d.
    I assume the remote.conf placement directory /etc/amremote
remote.conf posted separately as a fix has 1167B and it is the very same file as in 8.0.0a,b,c, even in older beta6a.
In the first build with the wrong remote.conf it has 1203B, but there is also a correct remote.conf in /flash

In the corrected second build if 8.0.0d the /etc/amremote.remote.conf has 1163B and it still differs from the previous ones and the currently attached one.

On the left is this one
On the right is /etc/amremote/remote.conf from the corrected build

  • Is the issue with scanning channels with internal S2 tuner a software issue or related to S2 tuner being low quality?

  • Is the issue with scanning channels with internal S2 tuner a software issue or related to S2 tuner being low quality?

Issue is fixed! It was in amlogic hw demuxer, tuner is top quality.

It is hoped that future versions can be used simultaneously with S2-C-T. :P

You have to ask tvheadend team (Jaroslav Kysela) to fix this issue. Problem is only in tvheadend, multistandard tuner has only single tuner and it is unable to use more standards concurrently (e.g EPG on dvb-t and live streaming dvb-s). Tvheadend open for every allow standard session and one of them is lucky to use tuner. Nor disabling EPG doesn't help. Internal tuner switch standard for < 300 msec.

  • Awesome, thanks alf1! Might I suggest you update first post in thread comments which says, "scanning is only partially supported, buggy..."
