libreELEC 9.2 vs 10

i using libreelec 9.x now for a year or so , and it is working good, so i actually still not made the step to 10.X

Now i see there is a bug fix (10.0.1 ) generic and im wondering shoudl i make the step. because there will be a time that i have to go to the next version to get the best support

- so can i easliy make the step , and update to 10.x( by update liberelec) without losing settings or skin(AEON NOX silvo)

- are there any major changes , which could effect working on a HTPC (generic)

- must i build it from scratch

- is there a way to make a full backup

-do i have to test it first on a bootable USB if it will run.

does somebody know , has some experience in update to 10.x

I have no Hyperion, i do not know what that is. is that for backup?

I still searching for a methode to make a simple full image of the SSD. i have a 256GB ssd (the smalest i could buythat time)

Then the backup programm should be smart, not coping every bit of ssd(so image will be 250GB) but only of the data whats on de SSD

aah ok, no i do not used this lights. but i have HA for my smart home , so when libreelec a trigger is made to HA

then i can turn on light etc ..

Yes but has somebody did the upgrade to 10.x

and is skin(AEON NOX silvo) supported
