HDR support

    I had the opportunity to test a Windows 10 AMD Ryzen 5 3400G system with Kodi v19.1 (Matrix) and LibreELEC 10.0.0

    I noticed that Kodi did pass HDR videos to my television and LibreElEC did not pass the video as HDR

    Did I make a mistake in the settings or is HDR not yet possible on AMD and LibreELEC?

    HDR is not supported in LE10 Generic images using X11 rendering. There are some LE10 "GBM" builds being released in the forums, and LE10.2/11 nightlies have similar changes. Kodi 20 is the target to have HDR features implemented or at least usable on the majority of hardware and the majority of needed features (full support will take a while, HDR is rather complex).

    I already mentioned the reason. It's a 50 page software support thread for different hardware. That's really a chaotic approach on "Hardware" sub-forum. If you have any questions about HDR builds, open a new thread on "General" or "LibreELEC" sub-forum.
