LibreELEC Remote Control HDMI TV RPi4

Hello,

I have a RPi 4 (4GB) and LibreElec version 10. The RPi4 is connected with my Samsung Frame 2021 (ConnectBox). Is it possible to use the Samsung remote control over HDMI? I can chose a device on my TV like Xbox, Nvidia, etc. What can I do for settings in LibreElec?

Or do I still need an infrared receiver?

Unless you disabled CEC in Kodi settings .. we should show up as a device too. It does sometimes depend on which HDMI port is being used on the TV end.

HDMI CEC is activated by default, and works without further LE settings. On the TV side CEC activation is eventually needed (search for Anynet+ at your TV settings).
