Pi4: No screen after turning tv off and on in 4K@50hz or 4K@60Hz

Hi all,

I know there have been topic after topic about this issue bit it seems that alot of the information is no longer applicable. For example tvservice is legacy and does not work anymore.

I have a Pi4B running latest release version of Libreelec. All works fine out of the box at 3840@30hz and below. I can turn off and on TV and image is back.

When I enable 4k@60hz in the config file and run Kodi at 3840@50 or 3840@60, all works fine until I turn the TV off and on. The image does not come back.

This logic brings me to the fact that everything is working correctly (hotplug and EDID wise) but i'm lost at where to continue at the moment.

I've tried enabling hdmi hotplug and running the "getedid create" script but it does not fix the issue.

Does anyone have any tips?

Same issue with nightly from the 28th.

Panasonic AX800 TV directly connected. Haven't tried through my Denon X2700 yet.

Looks like some advanced are made regarding this issue but have not tested yet.

How do you install this?

I ran the update.sh script and rebooted the Pi. Is this enough?

The picture still doesn't come back after turning off the TV unfortunately.

No I didnt but I did in these. However Kodi does not log anything.

I have the issue on my previous Panasonic AX800 connected directly and through my Denon X2700

I now have a Philips OLED connected though the Denon X2700 and the issue is exactly the same. I will try with the Philips directly connected soon but i don't think it will make much of a difference.
