... I have never seen 1.4 version of 2GB/4GB RPi 4B? ....
Yepp, these exits at least as 4GB models, have these in my livingroom ATM.

Yeah but it's a question what exactly it is as the HW info is a bit strange (AFAIK BCM2711 is inside of any RPi 4B in fact.)
So the PCB layout should tell truth.
Hopefully the issues with 1.4 version could be fixed later...
It seems you bought 8GB versions as so far I have never seen 1.4 version of 2GB/4GB RPi 4B?
In worst case I could offer selling one of my 1.1 RPI's away but they are just 1GB and 2GB...
The developer of IPTV simple client clearly stated that he is not planning to do any work on the old Leia version and that upgrading to Matrix is the only way to have his addon working. Matrix does not support VNC on rpi4.
I have rpi4 both 2G and 4G models in rev 1.4. Dmesg output:
Would gladly change 2GB model for the same memory but earlier revision

PCB says Raspberry PI 4 Model B.
The Raspicontroller (Android tool) identifies all three LE's as BCM2835 but my Pi-hole running Raspi OS on identical RPi4/4GB is identified as BCM2711.
(The tool says that LE's OS isn't supported...)
All has identical PCB's with same revision.
Edit:
Checked within LE (System Info): It clearly says HW: BCM2835, Rev: c03114
Would gladly change 2GB model for the same memory but earlier revision
Well, unfortunately it won't work ;-). Despite I don't currently use IPTV, I wouldn't replace my earlier RPi revisions ( which are working fine for all of my use cases) with newer devices with the same memory size (and with a known issues).
Also it's maybe possible a fake / clone RPi 4B devices are yet on the market... Try to find a trusted Raspberry distributor who can perhaps help with the HW release.
Another chance could be that some further kernel fix could fix an application issue in future...

Yeah I understand. But it's not so simple... Here is what I meant:

Yeah I understand. But it's not so simple... Here is what I meant:
Yeahhhh... Why do it simple...
RPi4 will report as BCM2835 due to compat decisions in the kernel code and depending on what's been queried from userspace. It's not a fake RPi board, it's normal. See some older explanations for RPi3B reporting the same way (it's still the same thing):
Forgive my ignorance but how come we can install Raspi OS (Buster) on a Pi4b and install VNC server on it?

Also, a step by step installing TightVNC on 64bit RASPI-OS
How are these different than how it used to be done on Libreelec?
RPi OS is running X11, LE /kodi is using GBM - that are completely different graphics stacks.

Hello, so is there any way to view the Desktop remotely?
I was thinking of using the DwService service (in a Docker Container because LE doesn't intend to start it for I don't know what reason ...) but I would need to forward LE's SSH X11 service to the container somehow.
Otherwise what do you advise me to do for the Remote Desktop always using your OS LE?I am using Raspberry Pi 3B + and LE 10.0.2
ATM there simply is no solution for LE10/11 to use VNC.

Besides the VNC, no system to view and interact with the desktop?
No. Use the web interface, JSON-RPC or ssh.

As a developer, I can understand this must be a big job to even start to undertake.
Just wanted to say, that as a user, I use it a lot to set up, test, support.
I can sit at my desk, and check new media is added ok on a test Pi, before the real thing, and I don't need to dedicate a monitor to the pi, and can type fast, paste from notes etc....
So just wanted to +1 that this is for some a pretty important feature. I also understand it's a community project and will manage to survive without it for now
Thanks to everyone involved for making this happen in the first place!
So far no change on the intention to support VNC, right?
So far no change on the intention to support VNC, right?
We'd like to support it, but it requires some non-trivial coding to be done by someone other than us. I wouldn't expect to see anything in the near to mid-term future.
Alright thx for the quick reply
Christmas is close, so let's keep hope up 😃
