Kodi Raspberry Pi 4 with Original 7" TouchScreen Display + HDMI output

  • Hi as subject topic, I still newbie.

I was installing KODi LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-9.2.1 with my 7" touchscreen display, it works fine and also managed to rotate it with SSH from this thread guide.

However i just received my Micro HDMI to HDMI port, when I put in the HDMI to my AV Receiver It didn't show anything.

Is there anything I need to do to turn on this?

Btw what is the different between LibreELEC and OpenElec?

    Thank you.

The menu display only showing like this:92952811_2918806864877574_1702055871086854144_o.jpg?_nc_cat=102&_nc_sid=ca434c&_nc_ohc=vqCl0-tvu_8AX8Aa4Rk&_nc_ht=scontent.fkul17-1.fna&_nc_tp=6&oh=c46d0d3ef83848256f11c56f4ba3be2a&oe=5EBD1F99

    Thank you.

  • Possibly the cable is bad? hdmi1 or hdmi2?

Please provide a full debug log.

How to post a log (wiki)

    1. Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging
    2. Restart Kodi
    3. Replicate the problem
    4. Generate a log URL (do not post/upload logs to the forum)

use "Settings > LibreELEC > System > Paste system logs" or run "pastekodi" over SSH, then post the URL link

LibreELEC is a port of OpenELEC (Which is now no longer supported i.e. dead)

  • no hdmi cable is working fine, if i remove the ribbon cable for 7" touch screen, the display work on hdmi.

if 7" touch screen ribbon cable is connected the display only work with the 7" touch screen.
