I have an older Intel NUC that wasn't affected by the "no sound" problem when upgrading to 9.2.1
Should I skip the 9.2.2 update ?
Will it automatically update even if I don't want it ?
-
No harm in skipping if you didn't need the update, but if auto-update is enabled on your end it will eventually auto-update; we didn't enable it for 9.2.1 as we didn't want to force a potentially non-working update on people. Now 9.2.2 is available to fix that we'll turn it on.
-
If auto update is enabled it will downgrade to 9.2.0. I'm on 9.2.1, and this was downloaded after enabling auto-update:

The release manager fat-thumbed the filename that's served and it became 9.2.0 .. this has been corrected.

Would it be possible to get a link to a thread or some info about the audio problem?
I've been getting complaints that my Asrock-J3455 based htpc seems to be playing videos with some of the 5.1 channels missing until it gets a restart (of course it never happens when I'm there to check it out
) I'm wondering if this bug might be behind it.

Does this version comes with the device tree on
The Generic build for Intel-based hardware does not do device trees.
Simply install it and boot it.

Does this version includes the patches for the new SSM multicast addresses (german Telekom Magenta-TV streams)? I mean the patches mentioned at #14.
