Yes I had that. Just go into the system settings and turn on the internet/network connection.
-
i try to abilitate network connection but LAN every turn off.

kszaq: Thx for the update!
Same minor issue here. When I switch on my player I need to toggle LAN back on again.
Edit: When I switch LAN back on it shows LAN and WIFI double. (see pic)

Automatic updates are not working in my box. It detects the update and tries to download the file, but it seems that somehow fails to correctly download it (it downloads about 90Mb out of 123Mb).
I was able to manually download the file to the .update folder and update without problems, though.
Maybe one download was interrupted and it was not able to continue it afterwards because the file already existed? Didn't try it... -
I also have the problem with the LAN that switches off whenever I turn off and on the MXQ S805.
-
After latest update (8.2.2.3-HD18Q) I also have to turn on LAN after reboot, everytime.

@kaszaq a fix is it planned ?

For the LAN issue, please login over SSH and execute these commands:
This will reset your network configuration (including WiFi passwords) and should fix LAN not working after a reboot.
If it doesn't work, force loading Ethernet kernel module:

Thank you for the quick fix!
Reseting the configuration fixed it only partially for me. After reboot I had network, but only DHCP. As soon as I configured the network manually again, the problem came back.
Force loading the kernel module seems to fix it definitely, thought.

I can't seem to SSH into the box anymore. I can see the device and it is connected.
I am able to ssh into my s905X box though.
I get a "Network Error, Connection Refused" message.

Announcement: I have decided to discontinue working on Krypton builds. I consider them to be stable and good for everyday use with not too many bugs. I will now focus on bringing Leia to S805 (if time allows).
Fantastic! Really looking forward to it! I did compile Leia on 8.2 a couple of months ago by transplanting code from LibreELEC master. Was just too much hassle, so gave up after a while.

Have you confirmed SSH is enabled via LibreElec Configuration add-on? It's disabled by default.
-
Yes it's enabled thanks.

Hi kszaq, I noticed that the le90 branch has disappeared from your repository. Does this mean you are not going to continue with 9.0 development? The "official" LibreELEC repository has support for some amlogic devices but unfortunately not the S805 which is what I have.

I've never had master/9.0 branch in my repo, the only branches that were in my repo were for Pull Requests to LE master.
I have not started to port Leia to S805 but don't worry, I will provide the builds.

Thank you kszaq.
