Will it auto update from 9.0.2 or do I have do start the upgrade manually?

you need to manually do it, autoupdate from major to major version has proven to be not 100% waf save

An Intel NUC or an RPi 4B has much better Linux support, compared to Amlogic. They can both handle 4K.
Both have good support, but the RPi 4B has more sites of work until software will be optimized.

Hi, sry for offtopic but i have here two Intel NUC DCCP847DYE. These old but good for Kodi models can't handle CEC over HDMI properly!
Are the newer models better in this?

That NUC model does not have CEC built-in, so you will need the USB-CEC adapter from PulseEight to get CEC working.
As far as I know, Intel/AMD/Nvidia don't have CEC support in any motherboard or graphics card. Only Intel had one or two (m)ATX boards years ago with optional CEC hardware support, but you still needed to plug in an extra CEC module.

Okay, finally one of the 2700 NUC variants that has a CEC interface
But there has to be support for in the Linux kernel for that specific interface.
Any chance it pops up in a dmesg listing? -
dmesg | grep -i cec
and a "visual" grep through the whole dmesg shows nothing.
anyway, I attached a photo of the bios setting related to CEC

The function of that CEC is very limited to what you see at the screenshot, the other cec pins are basically not even there

I attached a Mobius action cam in Webcam mode which works pretty well on a Win 10 box via VLC

I'm using an ODroid C2, and I don't see the binary for LibreElec 9.2, the last one is 9.0.2.
Will it be available one day ? Or ODroid will not be supported anymore by LibreElec ?

LE 9.2 does not exist for Amlogic devices. We got fed-up witth working in an awful vendor kernel and changed our focus to development of mainline kernel support. LE10 (Kod 19) is planned to have support for C2 again.

There is certainly no ETA set for LibreELEC v10. If we are to include Kodi 19 (which is still in alpha), we will have to wait for that first and that'll probably take at least a good number of months.
The first order of business is Kodi 18.6 in the upcoming weeks.
