SMB Problem

    Hi

    I have libreelec 6.95.2 7.0 installed using a Pi3

    Network is wired
    There are several other Windows/SMB devices in my local network
    But If I try to browse for a different SMB device in the file manager then nothing else than libreelec is shown

    there are no network problems on my other devices - SMB browsing is working there
    WINS is installed on my Home Server and service is up

    I tried with manual config and wireless connection also - no luck.

    Adding a SMB device manually is working.

    Do you have any hints or solutions for me ?

    File Manager - Add Source - Browse - Windows network(SMB) - WORKGROUP - Now I should see 9 devices of my local network

    But I only can see the Pi3 named libreelec and one of my Windows Home Servers ( the one with WINS running )

    all other devices are not shown

    if I do the same on my firetv with SPMC all 9 devices are shown
    if I take my notebook and browse in network all 9 devices are shown
    if I do the same on my Home Server all devices are shown

    only Pi3 has this problem - but I don´t know why..

    The Name of my Workgroup is WORKGROUP

    No other workgroup is present

    If I take a look from a windows device the Pi3 named "libreelec" is shown in WORKGROUP too..

    hmm I think I should make a fresh install again..

    btw. same device different SD Card with OSMC : no problem in filemanager / SMB

    ( I write this just to make clear that the problem is part of the installation on this Pi3 )

    I am not a networking expert, but I was having problems seeing my openelec NUC from my windows 10 pc.

    I eventually found a solution, windows 10, start, run \\openelec, after a few seconds the folders would show up in my computer,

    just tried it, now I have to run \\libreelec,

    might be worth a go.
