i.MX6 image with kernel 3.14 from solidrun

Hi,

On my Cubox-I I2U-300-D 7.90.010-sr works without any problems, great work.

When I try 7.90.1-sr my Cubox-I will not boot.

Any ideas?

Connect micro usb cable and open serial terminal to see where it stops.
There should not be significant changes between this two release.

Yes, but it's not dimming what's currently shown, it dims to what was previously played. So if I play some porn and finish it :), then I let the screen in the main menu, after 3 minutes it dims to the porn!

I'll give 4.8 a try.

Hi,

It's realy not my day.

I wrote LibreELEC-imx6.arm-7.95.2-sr-3.14 and LibreELEC-imx6.arm-8.0-7.90.005.1 to two different SD cards and before booting I added the parameters for serial console to U-Boot and after that my CuBox did boot without problems.

Once again sorry for the inconveniance.

Btw. LibreELEC-imx6.arm-7.95.2-sr-3.14 works like a charm, thank you for the great work.

Not sure if this is the right thread, but I just tried LibreELEC-imx6.arm-7.95.2-sr-3.14 and LibreELEC-imx6.arm-7.95.3-sr-3.14 on a Cubox-i4Pro.

LibreELEC-imx6.arm-7.95.3-sr-3.14 - Had networking issues with wifi. It wouldn't reconnect after reboot. FYUX

I know this is a very old thread, but I am not sure where to ask other than here.

These releases for i,MX6 are great! I am wondering if there will be a new release for LibreELEC 9. I would like to have it with Kodi 18 in my CuboxTV.

Maybe one day.

Few months back Kodi GUI was not even displayed correctly. Now the GUI is shown but I couldn't play anything. So there is visible progress.

Afaik there is hope, but likely not before K19/Le10.

And also there likely not a perfect result yet, the imx progress is rather slow but it is moving.
