Second the message. It is now working fine on my LG 4k TV!!
Have attached the log just in case...
Thank you for your efforts!
May need to test if same build works for 1080p (autodetect TV resolution modes).
As a side note, I have noticed that somebody at Freaktab ported the Minix Neo U1 firmware for MiniMXIII. I do not really know if the port or portions of the ported firmware can help development, but anyway, here is the post:
Minix Neo U1 firmware port for MiniMXIII
I am not able to test it yet as I do not have the USB male-male for debricking. Have one ordered and coming.
Thanks again!

Just drop it in the Update folder and reboot.
It should upgrade.
I've updated to the "test6" version.. there is no 4k option in the resolution settings, only 720p and 1080p variants. What am I missing? (yes my TV is 4K - Digihome 55304UHDSM 55inch 4K Ultra HD LED TV)
... I have to reflash Android and set 2160p or "best available" then flash libre??

Have you tried your tv with other 4k source?
If yes and worked, then do you use the same HDMI port and the same cable?
Do you use LE from SD or flash?

No I've not tried with another 4k source, the minimx is all I have. I could flash it back to stock Android and try that? I can try this tomorrow when I return home.
Ah maybe I need a HDMI 2.0 cable? My cable is probably 1.4a only.
I have Libre on flash.

Can you please confirm whether on the latest 4K test build all video modes work correctly: Normal, Zoom, Wide Zoom etc.)?

Do you mean video modes on tv?
Video modes that you can change in Kodi playback menu: Video playback - Official Kodi Wiki (View Mode).
Video modes that you can change in Kodi playback menu: Video playback - Official Kodi Wiki (View Mode).
Ohhh, I've never seen this menu...
View mode:
All the video modes are the same (I don't know if it is the expected behavior or not) except Stretch 4:3 which zooms the sreen.
Zoom amount:
The zoom behavior is a little bit strange:
- if zoom ratio < 1 then the picture enlarges and goes down and aligns to the left side (black bar at the top)
- if the zoom ratio >1 the picture shrinks and aligns to the top left corner (black bars on the bottom and on the right)
I've expected some center aligned zoom in and out... (and no black bar when zooming in)
Sorry please ignore my previous post.. I overlooked the fact that I wasn't directly connected to the TV... I had my HDMI 1.4 amp between minimx and tv! Bypassing that, yes, I get the 4K resolution options.
Hi guys I'm using the minimx on Samsung 4K TVs and have installed libreelec latest test version on sd then went ahead with the latest 4K tar update provided, kodi boots fine in 2160p however playback reverts into a quarter of the screen, could anyone help me out? Would it be better on nand?
@gazrbo I'm not sure where you got "the latest 4K tar update" from as it's been deleted from server some time ago but you may want to try this build: LibreELEC-S905.aarch64-7.0-devel-20160830160706-r23311-g51fe9ae.img.gz
