What are you trying to play? Photos/videos are known not to work.

My STB has AP option I enable it from Libreelec network under wireless network "Enable tethered wireless access point, and I connected with my iPAD but still cannot share pic or videos!
I don't know how to use this option!
Airplay on LibreELEC does NOT support photos or videos, only music

There is no way to "cast" pics/video to Kodi (on LE, or any other distro or Kodi supported platform) since iOS 9.x was released (thanks Apple!) so the only thing you can do is copy them to a USB stick and connect it to the HTPC device. Or pick up an AppleTV for that purpose.

So the best way is to use AppleTV connected with kodi...right? what about miracast or casting from Android..Do I need also chromecast or is there any solution?

LibreELEC does not support photo/video casting (it only supports audio casting).
If you need photo/video casting, you can use Chromecast or AppleTV. Chromecast is cheaper than AppleTV, if all you need is photo/video casting.
LibreELEC and Chromecast/AppleTV are independent of each other, ie you can use one without the other.
Fitting Miracast (miraclecast) LibreELEC does not seem easy.

From android you have no issues...you can stream any video,picture or audio to LE

VLC does that too on windows...not sure on android never tried it..
