Put "libreelec log files" in your address bar and the internet will reveal it to you
When booting the LibreELEC stick, do you get a syslinux prompt then a logo before the screen goes black?

Just a friendly hint:
https://wiki.libreelec.tv/how_to/provide_logfile?s[]=log
... a good starting point!
Cheers guys will check the log files thing out tomorrow.no no logo just a few words at the top, flashing cursor then the tv screen loses signal.checked other inputs and nothing.
surely if I can’t install Openelec or LibreELEC I can’t enable the log files.
Same behavior with other TV/monitor?
BTW, what display adapter do You have?
I’m very grateful for any help guys but in English please, display adaptor?im set up with the Nuc exactly as I was the first time I had Openelec installed on the box.only difference is new LG oled 4K tv.
My bad... Meant 'graphics card'
Try setting it up on a 1080p tv, or possibly set your oled to 1080p.
Ok no worries will try when I get home tonight,I get the Openelec title before I get the xorg server failed but nothing when trying to load LibreELEC.cheers guys speak soon lol
in the spec of my Intel Nuc it just says intel hd graphics no specifics
Right guys I’m at my wits end here.cant solve problem plus no more help seems to be coming.if I give you my email on here can someone get in touch so I can send photos and video of what this installation is doing?is that an idea anybody would be up for?
Download Generic AMD/Intel/Nvidia GPU HTPC from downloads – LibreELEC
Using the Libreelec SD creator, burn this image to a usb stick.
Put the stick in the NUC, I am assuming bios it set to EUFI?
Connect another tv, NOT 4K
With a keyboard & stick plugged in, turn on NUC, press the F? key to check the stick can be seen in the Bios.
then insert another usb stick, select install to the second usb
Then follow instructions on screen
You are probably thinking I want to install to the hard disk, well if the install works on the second usb, then you can try to install to the internal hard disk, although Libreelec will run quite well from usb.
I run my celeron nuc from a 32GB usb with no problems.
Create a DHCP reservation for the NUC in your router so you can predict what IP it receives. Now create a USB and install LE normally (to USB or HDD it doesn't matter). After install it will boot and you end up with a black screen, but this is normally an Xorg issue and not a total failure to boot the core OS. Now SSH into the box's IP and run "cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | paste" so we can see why there is no display. I have a hunch that this is an Xorg modeline issue.
