Just follow steps found at MySQL - Official Kodi Wiki and You should be able to use Your exixting MySQL setup within short.

I did it some time ago by just installing raspbian lite and installning MySQL server on top.

Kodi add-on "Backup" works flawlessly for me when swapping SD card.

If keyboard you have on the table is used for Kodi You won't have any Nordic characters.

If You are using external keyboard, Your issue has been discussed earlier at OE forum. Without any obvious soution though...
AFAIK there is no working solution to get nordic chars when using external keyboard.

In earlier Kodi releases you could alter that by editing '<systemtotaluptime>######</systemtotaluptime>’ value in 'guisettings.xml'.
Maybe that's changed...

A brand new S905X player costs almost exactly the money that a RPi3 with PS, remote, sd-card, and so on costs.

Obvious question:
Have You turned SSH on in Libreelec settings? (settings, Libreelec, services)
Can You ping "192.168.5.106" from Your computer?

I think You could use XBMC Library Auto Update to accomplish that.

Some scapers do accept usage of "-" (dash) instead of ":" (colon).
I used a search and replace tool to make my movie collection more 'universal' by removing all colons from movie/folder names.
