Hi.
Is there a way to get Norwegian letters in Libreelec?
I found a keyboard layout that gives me Norwegian layout , but no Norwegian lettersThanks.
If You are using external keyboard, Your issue has been discussed earlier at OE forum. Without any obvious soution though...
AFAIK there is no working solution to get nordic chars when using external keyboard.
In earlier Kodi releases you could alter that by editing '<systemtotaluptime>######</systemtotaluptime>’ value in 'guisettings.xml'.
Maybe that's changed...
OK, thanks guys!
I'll stick to RPi3's at the moment and if/when necessary I'll look into the NUC/Cromebox selection.
TY!
The question might also be, what do you need it for?
...
So we need a bit more information about your usecase to give a better answer.
Added some info in first topic...
I'd like to know if it's worth the money to switch my RPi3's to a decent brand S905X based player (Beelink?)?
A brand new S905X player costs almost exactly the money that a RPi3 with PS, remote, sd-card, and so on costs.
[EDIT]
Purpose: View streaming media from Netflix, HBO, Youtube, and so on, movies from local movie library (+1000 movies), listen music from local music library (+9000 tracks) and management of photo/picture library (+8000 pictures).
Any ideas?
I think You could use XBMC Library Auto Update to accomplish that.
Thanks. My German is near non-existent, but it seems the lead time is 30-50 days.
I'll try the PiHut in a week or so :-}
German? AliExpress?
Or as Google Translate would say:

Isn't Odroid C2 a good choice? Harware-wise it should be more that 'good enough'... Or?
I had similar issue with the build in SD reader that sometimes fails to have exclusive access to SD-card but using external (USB connected) USB reader never fails.
I might be wrong here but as far as I found out You need to copy backgrounds and thumbnails to your local storage folder on Your RPi.
I used the 'Pictures' folder for that purpose.
Maybe there is another way but this works...
I solved this "issue" with a good, multiplatform password manager.
Used to almost everything except banking/financial stuff.
I run my PI3's without the 'lid' on.
Like this:
Temp is approx 60-65°C depending of usage.
It's not pretty but it works...
