Looking at one of these, the intel specs say it supports 4K/hdr.
Any opinions on it working with libreelec?

I installed the IARL Addon after enabling the games menu. It runs and installs the emulators ok but most games crash early on.
It is early days for Retroplayer but it looks promising.

Just to chime in.
I have the minix u9-h box, and never had any problems with play back. UHD or 4K/hdr.
All my movies are stored on a Linux based ( omv ) I’m sharing via Emby server ( nfs shares ) using the Emby kofi addon on the latest Adamg alpha release. All connected via gigabyte lan.
If you want to pm me the film your trying I’ll try it on my setup.

I believe there are two steps for this...
First, on the tvheadend webUI - go to the CONFIGURATION > CHANNEL/EPG > EPG GRABBER MODULES tab and enable the External: XMLTV grabber.
Then in Kodi, in the Tvheadend service addon settings, go to the XMLTV category and set the XMLTV source type to WEB and put your web link address in the XMLTV Web location setting.
Then you can either trigger the internal epg grabber on the tvheadend webUI to update or reboot and see if it goes and gets the data. (do note that if you reboot, it may take a couple of minutes before the grabber runs)

I have 3 Kodi boxes in my house atm, I’ve set on simple client on one and want to tidy up the channels using groups.
If I do this on one box can I transfer the groups and new channel numbers easily to another box so I only have to get it right on one box?

I’m sure I’ve read this is summit to do with stream profiles in Tvheadend, it’s recommended to change the stream profile to mkv not htsp or pass. But Kodi will not work with mkv streams from Tvheadend.
That’s why it doesn’t ( on my box ) have the issues when watching a mkv film.

Then use the key map editor in Kodi to map them to functions. If your using the alpha versions of coreelec then I can send you the remote files you need to copy to your box.

matt77303 can you share the exact description? When I use the 'Microsoft Media PC SE' the command seem to have a delay but every button is working. With 'Minix Multimedia Player' play/pause and other command don't work properly.

There is a minix option in the my harmony setup. I used that and now have all the extra buttons working.

Hi guys.
I’ve been running Tvheadend on my Debian based server for a couple of years now with an old sky dish and 4x pci-e dvb-s tuners. This works great.
However I’ve just cancelled sky and I am using a paid iptv service for extra channels. This works good except the Kodi addon for it is not very wife friendly, so I decided to look into adding the iptv into Tvheadend. I’ve added it and all the channels seem to be working good. But I cannot get the epg data to show for the iptv channels. My provider gave me a web link for a xmltv epg but I can see anywhere to input this into Tvheadend. I’ve tried reading a few guide but can get my head around it.
I’m using Tvheadend 4.2, I also have access to a scheduled direct account if that’s easier.

For normal HD TV use 444,8bit. If you have a UHD TV, use 444,10bit

With the new alpha builds having the option to change colour space, I was woundering what this is and or means?
Do I need to find out what my tv supports and set it to one of these or is there more to it? Which is best etc.
