3.) Use the link in my last post to install Linux
4.) Use LibreELEC as my distro
Librelec = OS+Kodi
So, maybe you should focus on actually Kodi software (and try to get some pkg compatible with your arch), more like whole Libreelec itself

Last time i checked (YouTube Plug-in Thread) YT plugin has serious issues with Krypton. not sure if they found something yet, but it wasnt easy as those problems are from beginning krypton..
Ah, I dont realized that Community is for unofficial builds, sorry about that.. Anyway, it was convenient (OE), browse just "your" architecture forum posts.. I am using view new posts, and there are a lot of topics through various arch.. That was only point I try to make.. So maybe rephrase that as: Could it be possible to make arch-related subforums?
Hello, could it be possible to add Rpi arch as subforum for community, the same as Apple, Amlogic has?
I am using either TV remote, on TV without CEC I am using whatever old remote from abandoned devices, via IR/GPIO
its not needed.. And never was. But I used it a long time, and (mostly due cache images / thumbs) I will continue with that, even with library stored somewhere else inside DB. As was stated, not due speed (USB HDD is better choice), but due to possible corruption. With USB I got literally zero SD card corruption in years.. Just using it for load OS and thats it. Must admit, my Pi's running 24/7 but still, I am happy how stable they are.
Not sure what hassle chewitt refers, its just edit on line in config.txt and copy partition on USB, right? And update (.tar -> ./update) never was a problem to me, everything works just fine (last X updates I even do completelly remotelly from other appartment, just copy and reboot)..
Hi,
I have LG and its tricky sometimes. After switch channel, you just try to initiate Simplink again, via menus. In my case, TV shows Simplink failed, but CEC-Kodi connections works again.
If you dont plan x265 codec, I would recommend you Rpi 2. Plenty of power to HTPC, stable and very well supported, pretty cheap.
Great! Thank you.
Hi,
dont have experience with your platform. When I looked into my project (7.0.2) I see
I am sorry cant help here.
Any chance explaining how to add mc to tools when compiling for other projects?
Hi,
Download sources (mc), extract to your compile folder, and after compiling Libreelec just run
depending on your architecture.
yep, my LG is also little bit picky.. Doesnt run simplink automatically, and often I must manualy set up for HDD recorder. TV says "Simplink doesnt work" or something like that, but after few seconds it works. So, if you dont have AVR between Pi and TV, and your LG knows CEC (Simplink), you should be good after all (standard setting, righ HDMI port, enabled CEC in LibreElec and enabling CEC on TV)
Does anyone have compiled Rpi3 arch? I would have to compile it from the scratch (~2 days)
Hi,
I didnt register anything.. My configuration you can find in this thread I think. I dont have plenty of movies or TV Shows, like 10-25 Movies, and around 200-300 tv show episodes tops. The next step would be examine your logs, if those doesnt tell you, which part of kodi/plugins have problems during freeze.
Change output configuration to "optimized".
That was it! Thank you very much, I must switch that one sometime through time.
I really appretiate your effort. Its very surprising to me, because this is what I see:

Yes, it is expert since installation.. I vividly remember that passtrough was there, but now I cant find it. Before it was System/Audio Output settings, do you have it on the same place? (7.0.2)
Hello,
I dont know in what exact release, but I cant find HDMI audio passthrough checkbox in configuration anymore. I can choose HDMI as output device, but I just cant find the option to see, if I using software decoder, or HDMI passthorugh. Can anyone explain to me what happened and what I should I do, to enable proper DTS/Dolby passthrough to receiver via HDMI?
