Is there any chance you can help me im very new to this LibreELEC…
Read the OP, everything is there, for dual boot you need to make an SD card or USB drive with the S912 image, replace the dtb.img file with gxm_q201_3g.dtb (for 3GB RAM/100Mbps devices, ex. M8S Pro L) but don"t forget to rename this to dtb.img. Insert the SD card, turn on your device, put a zip file for ex. to Downloads folder, doesn't matter what and go to Apps/UPDATE app, click on it, choose local update, you will see zip file(s), click on that and the box after reboot will be on LibreELEC. After this your box always will be on LibreELEC if your card is inserted. In LibreELEC main page you can select the option to reboot to internal memory.
For remote, download remote.conf from here and copy to storage/.config folder, works great.
Good luck.
so my problem is that after I installed Libreelec on my q box s905 I cant seem to connect wired to the internet but wireless it connects fine any ideas
Choose a different device tree.
I made it, copied remote.conf file from Leia's amremote folder to Kryton's storage/.config and works great.
I read it, but nothing change, libreelec.conf files are similar.
Ok guys, I found something. I wrote Leia build on SD card, again, copied amremote folder after that back to Krypton build and copied amremote folder too, libreelec.conf and wetek.conf files are the same but on Leia build are another two files, remote.conf and remote.conf~, can I copy these files to Krypton's etc/amremote folder?
My new S912 box, M8S Pro L, first build what I tried was @afl1's build, 8.90.4-K, works fine except some files and add-ons, after that I made a new SD-card with this build, 8.2.0.1, now all files works great, some files played with microstutters, all add-ons works fine but the remote doesn't work, on @afl1's build works great. On Android works great, I've tried to copy remote.conf to storage/Configfiles without success, no working at all.
Thanks for your work.
All information about installation of Kszaq's builds is in this post: [HOWTO + FAQ] Install community builds on S905/S905X/S912 device
For Wetek Hub you need this device tree: gxbb_p200_1G_wetek_hub.dtb
Hi, I"ve tried the newest build, upgraded from kszaq's 8.1.10, everything is fine except 24 fps movies, here is a Kodi sample, this sample and all 24 fps movies plays on 23,976 fps with microstutters, I don't seen microstutters on other frame rates, I saw every frame rate at the correct output.
Thanks
Gendo's links works great.
Same setup in LE7 and LE8 and when I play the H.264 1080p/24.000 sample file or movie the codecinfo overlay it says it is running at 23.976 fps on LE8 and there are visible some microstutters sometimes, on LE7 it"s running at 24 fps and no microstutters.
When I play the H.264 1080p/24.000 sample file (from Samples - Official Kodi Wiki) , the codecinfo overlay it says it is running at 23.976 fps.
Same for the H.264 1080p/60.000 sample file, it is showing as running at 59.94 instead of 60. All the other samples play correctly.
Confirmed, can't play flawlessly my 24Hz movie because there are microstutters, that movie with 012k and Minix XBMC was perfect at the correct frame rate.
1080/60Hz sample file with same issue, running on 29,97 and another sample (Peter Gabriel concert) 1080p/25 fps m2ts file running on 59.94, I don"t understand these issues. All with LE 8.1.9.
Thanks for that understand where you are coming from now - just updated the box and it works perfectly.
Thanks for the prompt and very helpful responses.
With pleasure. Now you can enjoy full support of Neo U1.
Sync playback to display turned on affect audio passtrough, all audio formats transcoded to pcm. I use audio passtrough and all formats are recognised correctly by AVR, sync playback to display always turned off, I don't have audio passtrough issue with Minix dtb.
I have been running LibreElec for a while on a MINIX neo U1, now on 8.1.8, almost everything works fine - keep up the god work.
However audio passthrough has never worked for me when I use the U1 Device Tree (on any version), the receiver does not recognise the audio stream as a valid stream. When I use the p200_2G_1Gbit_OTG_port Device Tree I get audio passthrough but always pcm; dolby, DTS etc. all pass through as pcm. I do not believe the problem is receiver related as LibreElec running on an x86 box works just fine passing all formats through to the receiver correctly, the issue only occurs on the U1 box.
Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions for a fix?
Everything is perfect with Minix dtb. Turn of "Sync Playback to Display" (Settings/Player/Videos).
I also had problems with DTS-HRA and my Denon AVR, and discussed it here with the Kodi people: DTS-High Resolution. What's the score?
Denon claims that HRA plays fine from blueray players in their tests, kodi developers claim they follow the standard and point to their code as proof. I use an older firmware, that plays the HD-HRA stream, but this is limited to 5.1 for whatever reason. Newer firmwares fall back to the DTS core.
Strange, I also have Denon AVR (X3100W) and no issue with DTS-HD HRA, latest firmware (updated 2 months ago).
I've downloaded that file and everything is fine, no issue, my AVR showed DTS-HD HR and the sound was perfect, LE 8.1.8.
Yesterday I tried to watch a BD movie with a DTS HD HRA audio track, but I cannot get audio with the latest LE version (81.7, 8.1.8) .
No luck with LE 7 either. My AVR says nothing and no sound, Other DTS and DD tracks are working.
Could you check this file (I cut about the first 200 MB) here: DTSHD_HRA.m2ts ?
Is it a bug or just a corrupted file?
Best Plug n Play Wireless remote = MINIX A2 lite (can be added to any media player with its USB receiver dongle)
Mele F10 Deluxe too, great remote.
