That's what I did, that's why I dont understand why V8.0.2 works and not 8.2.0
Try a new install, 8.1.5 works great on Neo U1.

Hi, my Minix U1 refuse to boot with this build, if I create an image from 8.0.2, I can boot, but scanning files is very long, and I wanted to test the 8.1.5 or 8.2 version but there is no way I can boot on it. Any idea ?
Update the dtb too. Works great on my Minix.
Thanks mate, i've tried with realteak dtb but the problem persist.. i'm quite sure my mini-mx is not realteak wifi anyways..
it was worth a try!
thanks
Another solution, try the buld with temp sensor disabled.
Hi Kszaq,
updated on mini-mx 1GB to 8.1.5 with new dtb (gxbb_p200_1G_1Gbit.dtb) the power led is inverted (red on boot and blue on poweroff
but more than that, it does not shutdown anymore. it always restart, i ve to unplug the plug
perhaps not on latest firmware?
Use Realtek dtb for Mini MX, mine Mini MX was built with Realtek chipset.
For people saying SMB is working could you possibly mention what OS your server is running? Thanks.
NAS, macOS, router, Android phone.
Great build, thanks. I don't have SMB issue, everything is fine.
Hmmm. Fresh install or an upgrade from a previous version?
Anyway, both methods are good. You use the proper dtb?
Just got a Minix U1 up and running (8.0.2d) ,- huge thanks to the devs!!! Could anyone here confirm if they can get a 5ghz wifi connection? I can only see 2.4ghz networks.
I can get 5GHz ac wifi signal, works great.
Tested the new build and something wrong with this :
- added support for CVBS output: if HDMI is not connected, Kodi will default to output mode provided by u-boot, i.e. CVBS on devices with that type of output
With this build the GUI is always on 720p (need manual setup to 1080p), my setup is Minix Neo U1 connected with HDMI cable to Denon X3100W (passtrough) which is connected to a Sony FHD TV with HDMI cable too, before this update the GUI was at 1080p, this setup controlled by Logitech Harmony with "Activities". How can I fix this issue.
Resolved. In Logitech Remote setup increased the Inter-device delay for Minix to 15 seconds and re-ordered the way in which they are powered on, correct order is TV, AVR, Minix.

There still are frame skips, but it depends on the media type. I have a very experimental buffer change that has reduced frame skips from my testing. I still need to get a h264 4k test file as a benchmark (all my 4k media is h265).
In the first 20 minutes I didn"t see frame skips, h264, but afterwards I noticed a few frame skips, 6-7 in 60 minutes.
New build uploaded and links updated in OP (must update dtb).
Test in progress, after 20 minutes no frame skips, remote works fine. Great nougat build, great work.
I still need to update git, but the new build I put in OP should fix the 10bit only (and incorrectly reported colordepth) output issue.
This wasn't intended -- these builds should support 8bit displays as well, unfortunately I messed up (part of testing).
No problem, with 10 bit output the picture quality is great, I appreciate your effort to solve output issue. I'll test the new build.
Kszaq's "Full Nougat" preview ran fine. No 4k or 10bit hardware here. Good old 1080p. i don't think my problem is cable related at that resolution.
Your TV doesn"t support 1080p/10 bit, that's why your screen is black.
Black screen after LE logo on Minix NEO U1 (s905/2Gb/16Gb) with latest build. No network, no SSH.
Redownload or/and reinstall it because I don"t have any problem with that build, works fine on my Neo U1.
waiting for network under LibreELEC is oldready off in my settings.
What is your hardware config ?
Turn it on to resolve the time issue. Minix-AVR-TV
f I reboot from the power menu no add on is accessible any more. It just freezes up. Plugging out the power cable and plugging back in works fine.
Yesterday I rebooted my Minix 5-6 times and no freezes. I use 8.0.1l (with temp sensor) and Minix dtb. I don't remember when my box freezes up last.
I have Minix Neo U1 too and no freezes. Try to reinstall the build or replace the SD card.
Turn on the waiting for network under LibreELEC/Network menu in Settings.
