more likely to have the issue fixed if it's reported on Kodi forum and/or to addon author.

    Thank you kszaq.

The Author could not identify issue with my logs and i have eliminated Libamplayer.so error being the cause.

I can confirm the issue is noticed in Android system as well - checked on Kodi 17.1 and 17.3 both

It works fine on Android Kodi 16.1

I have opened a New Thread under Video Support on The Official Kodi Forum.

Mick84 You may want to report your issue using Android.

If the same thing happens with SW decoding and on other platforms (Windows, Mac), this is an issue that needs to be reported upstream.

Please always post a full log.

    Software Decoding same issue.

Turn Off Adjust Refresh Rate same issue

Issue to be reported upstream ?? Pardon my not understanding.

On my Mac same issue. Please Note my MacBook"s GPU NVIDIA GeForce 320M has Krypton Known Hardware Issues and i am running a TEST Build based on master/leia. Kodi Community Forum. The result is identical to LE .

I just clean Installed 8.0.2a and took Debug Log attached.

    Screenshot taken Just before Kickout.

    log-2017-06-05-00.07.10.zip

Still happening with all updates to 8.0.1l

    I just Updated to 8.0.2a (2017-05-28) as i was using 8.0.1l

Same issues 4 seconds into playing livestream and a Kickout.

I've been updating since first Krypton release and this issue has been there from day 1 and continued with all Krypton releases.

Sorry for a wild stab at below snippet of my original posted log. It's like the stream is disrupted by a loss of sync.

    Code
    13:00:36.801 T:3709862816   DEBUG: CVideoPlayer::CheckContinuity - resync backward :1, prev:53095937777.777779, curr:53090967111.111107, diff:-4970666.666672

If you check your logs you will see it uses libamcodec instead of libamplayer.

I saw that and thought that was the problem with Playback. Obvious now that is not the cause.

Stream resolves and plays the start for 3 to 5 seconds and then stops with a kickout.

The log i posted above from Line 1784 to 1826 is where i see the issue.

I’m out of my depth in interpreting why the stream cannot continue playing.

Hope someone can explain what is causing this playback issue.

The error line is now removed for Kodi v18, I can backport the patch for your peace of mind.

Not sure this is my playback issue with these Greek Live Channels.

Jarvis 7.0.3.012j no issues is what's bugging me.

reason: libamplayer.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

    MiniMX S905 1g/8g

Only 1 Greek Language addon installed. Greek live tv streams.

    (Jarvis 7.0.3.012j no issues.)

Logs were taken using LibreELEC release: S905.arm-8.0.1c

Still happening with all updates to 8.0.1l

Stream resolves and plays the start for 3 to 5 seconds and then stops with a kickout.

    My first Linux Box

    Pivos XIOS DS M3

ML8726-M3 SoC with Single-Core Cortex A9 ARM CPU (Same Chip)

    1 GB RAM

    Mali-400 GPU

Dead and buried as far as Kodi development goes.

It was fun and games during Pivos development and why i eventually ended up here with LE.

In terms of reliability I cannot confirm your experience... the servers are quite reliable and very fast.

The security issues are extreme indeed. You need to setup iptables on LibreELEC to not get part of a botnet within hours or so... There is an almost 100% chance that you get somehow attacked, when not using appropriate firewall (iptables) on LibreELEC or OpenELEC.

    Thanks infinity85

I'm not using router setup for VPN. My ISP Provider is cable broadband and locked into their router.

No VPN Possible on their Modem Router.

I use Tunnelblick for Mac on my laptop.

I basically use OpenVPN Manager Add-on and connect using the configuration.

Excellent results so far including Filtering settings work great.

I have no experience with PureVPN except trying to help a friend connect which i witnessed all the drop outs.

VPN Manager is having trouble staying connected to PureVPN

I have just spent an hour helping a friend who has PureVPN as his VPN Provider and can report it is a very troublesome service with constant dropouts.

My friend got that jacked off he paid for IPVanish immediately and he was up and running in 5 minutes.

I've been using their service for 3 weeks without any issues.

I pointed out Link #239 which he was not aware of.

What is the difference between the device tree "gxl_p212_2g_nand.dtb" and the "gxl_p212_2g.dtb"? Thanks for your help.

    How to Link #1

S905X: Device trees for these boxes start with gxl. You can leave a tree that is already present on SD card (fresh install only) or choose one according to your RAM amount. If internal memory of your box is not visible when trying to install to internal memory, try a device tree with _nand suffix.

I realised the same problems with ipvanish. I turned vpn off as well. It worked straight away. So I have to change the server as well.

That's what worked for me. Changed server and it worked. I thought i had to turn off VPN to make it work but i changed server and it worked as well.
Try the Dallas 1 UDP if your using IP Vanish.
