Sorry.
Why are USB ports not disabled?
How to make them turn off as before?
LibreElec 9.1.501 and Raspberry Pi 4B
After power-off through the main menu - Shutdown, USB-HDD continue to work. The USB continues to receive voltage.
On Raspberry Pi3B and Pi3B+ USB-disks were turned off completely, power to USB was not received.
I prepared micro-SD card according to the instructions.
I am not a new user. This is my 3rd player. My S905 and S905x load Libreelec 8.2.3.1 and work fine!
Hi!
S905w Box.
Used:
LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.2-8.2.3.1-temp_sensor_disabled.img.gz
and gxl_p212_1g.dtb
When you try to load, there is a picture like this.
Tell me what to do?
Hi!
Tell me, what is this file? Index of /s905/8.2/test/8.2.3.1-kernel-patch
What is the difference from normal kernel.img ?
For Raspberry Pi 3 I want to buy such a board - Aoide DAC II
I will be able to setup in Libreelec?
So now you have the scan codes, all you have to do is follow the instructions on creating your own keymap.
See these two posts:
Thank You.
This remote control LE9.0 remote configs ir-keytable Amlogic devices
1. In the folder "\storage\.config\" put file "rc_maps.cfg"
2. In the folder "\storage\.config\rc_keymaps\" put file "alfawise_h96pp"
3. Rebooted.
The remote control worked.
BUT! If you turn Off the player using "Suspend", and turn On - the remote does not work. Only аfter rebooting it works again.
At all the previous releases (7-8), the remote control worked fine after suspend.
Hi!
I have player X96 S905x (1Gb/8Gb)
The remote control on all previous releases worked perfectly, using the file "remote.conf".
This file I put in the folder "\storage\.config"
This is the same remote control I also adapted to control the player "Raspberry Pi 3 + Libreelec" using a file "lircd.conf".
This file I also put in the folder "\storage\.config"
- The files I put in the folder by simply copying from a USB drive.
Everything worked fine until the new version 8.90.4.
The question is simple: What file and in what folder I have to put (copy) that to make this my remote control work on the new version 8.90.4.
Files "remote.conf" and "lircd.conf" his remote control attached - RC_X96&RPi3.zip
... I need to output two channels audio stream at its original bit depth and sample rate, without resampling.
Here are the my settings to guarantee output Stereo 44-192 without resampling (bitperfect) via SPDIF TOSLINK. (pic1, pic2)
For tests it is possible to record force output in 192kHz (pic3) "Output configuration - Fixed"
upd.
As 192/24 files you transferred to the player? From network?
I have from the HDD-USB or Flash-USB. To experiment try the same.
I never said they won't play it, I was merely pointing out that some boxes are built differently and as I said previously not to expect miracles from a cheap box. Whilst it works for some it doesn't mean it will for all, there is some people here who can not use wifi because vendors have changed parts. This is just one of the reasons it may not be working for racko.
I understand your concerns. But as far as I know, the SPDIF signal is supplied to the optical transmitter directly from CPU Amlogic S905(X)
On his way there is no any other chips and components.
Only one option, the manufacturer has put very ancient optical SPDIF-transmitter which can not work with a frequency of 192.
There is a great disparity with amlogic devices, just look at how many different wifi chipsets are in use, just because 1 box can handle 24/192 it doesn't mean they all will, some have cheaper/worse components than others and this could also translate where the S/PDIF interface is concerned as well.
All three player I bought for $ 25-35 - they are ordinary.
My friends also bought players S905X other models - they all play 192/24 on optic.
That's great! So what could be the problem with my Minix Neo U1?
My DAC is Rokna RD-2 and definitely is capable of 192/24 over TOSlink input, it works with my old media player (Xtreamer Sidewinder MK1).
Look in the audio settings - paragraph do not remember exactly - "limit sampling rate" - maybe there you have 96 khz? In this case, set 192 (or 352, 384)
The audio files (FLAC and WAV) at 16-bit/44.1KHz, 24-bit/88.2KHz and 24-bit/96KHz are outputted correctly, without resampling. The files at 24-bit/192KHz are not played, just silence - no sound at all - and the DAC doesn't display anything.
What model DAC?
Only digital coaxial can handle 24 bit / 192 khz
Amlogic doesn't support 24/192 over SPDIF.
This is not so.
Amlogic S905, S905X great outputs 192/24 on optics SPDIF (TOSLINK), starting with version 7.0.X. (see pic.1)
My report -> [8.0.2e] LibreELEC 8.0 for S905/S905X
In recent releases of 8.1.x ower USB can be output to the DAC the frequency of 352.8 khz and 384khz - (see pic.2)
It works on all my players, and a few of my devices DAC.
My players:
S905 - M8S 2G+8G, LAN 100M
S905 - K1 Plus 1G+8G, LAN 100M (without tuner)
S905X - X96 1G+8G, LAN 100M
The picture my old DAC "SMLS M8"
I have Raspberry Pi3 & PIFI Digi+ (this clone HIFIBerry Digi+) & Libreelec 8.1.0 (or 7.0.3)
In order for the SPDIF output to work - in the file config.txt added:
This Board have the IR sensor. for his work, in the file config.txt added:
I configured the remote using lirc-0.9.1, (including prescribed and the KEY_POWER button).
This configuration file is located: /storage/.config/lircd.conf
The result:
Audio output works fine!
The remote control works great! When you press the remote button "Power" - RPi3 - shutdown. But if you then press the "Power" button, RPi3 is not enables power-on.
In order to enable RPi3, i need to pull the power plug again and put it back in.
What you need to do that, would RPi3 enabled power-on with the remote?
Please tell me.
With what version was missing a function "Suspend"?
Whether it will be returned "Suspend" in the future?
The test report of the audio output (stereo lossless files) on the latest Builds: 8.0.1 j (and 7.0.3.012 k)
Players:
S905 - M8S 2G+8G, LAN 100M
S905 - K1 Plus 1G+8G, LAN 100M (without tuner)
S905X - X96 1G+8G, LAN 100M
Note: "Suspend" is working perfectly. Status "Wired Network" does not affect its performance.
SPDIF (optical)
Out all frequencies without resampling:
44,1 - 48 - 88,2 - 96 - 176,4 - 192 kHz (16 and 24 bit)
USB.
Out all frequencies without resampling:
44,1 - 48 - 88,2 - 96 - 176,4 - 192 kHz (16 and 24 bit)
Testing of different DAC USB-receivers:
Texas Instruments TAS1020B, Savitech SA9023, Tenor TL7022L - Norm. Plays great!
XMOS 8U6C5 - Norm. Plays great! (No crackling, аnd no distortion).
Great job! On behalf of all the audiophiles I Express my deep gratitude! Build 7.0.3.012 k - Today is the best for hi-res audio.
Later I will test another two USB-receiver - Amanero Combo384 and C-Media CM6632A. And still need to check the SPDIF "bitperfect".

Changelog:
- suspend is so unreliable that it's now disabled
I have three player. Two players on the CPU at S905, and one player at S905X.
Here's a little statistic that might help to solve the problem of "Suspend"
"Suspend" on the two players S905, builds 7.0.3.012c - 7.0.3.012j, and the builds 8.0.0c - 8.0.0f - I works fine, without problems and crashing!
Then I bought a player on the processor Ѕ905Х, and found an interesting point: On the listed firmware "Suspend" did not work. Or rather - when enabled "Suspend" in the settings, the player not turn on with the remote. When pressing Power on the player lights up blue led, but the image on TV didn't arrive.
Quite by accident I discovered this feature - if in the LibreElec settings of the network enable a "Wired Network" (cable plug is not required), "Suspend" is starting to work perfectly. Player turns off and when pressing the "Power" - instant turn on.
The player Ѕ905Х function "Suspend" works perfectly, and without problems - just as well in S905. But if you disable the "Wired Network" - Suspend stops working.
I hope my experience will help return function "Suspend" the current builds.
upd. my players:
S905 - M8S 2G+8G, LAN 100M
S905 - K1 Plus 1G+8G, LAN 100M (without tuner)
S905X - X96 1G+8G, LAN 100M
Hi!
I purchased a TV-Box "K1 Plus" S905 Android 5.1, 1GB RAM 8GB ROM
These boxes are of two types - without DVB receiver (pictured left), and DVB receiver (pictured right). Both have 4 USB port.
I have the without DVB receiver!
Which file "device treess" should be used? gxbb_p200_k1_plus.dtb or gxbb_p200_1G_100M.dtb
Try this build: LibreELEC-S905.aarch64-7.0-devel-20161212221553-r23560-g512a087.img.gz
This has the only non-upstream commit I can think of reverted that can cause your issue: dwc_otg: do not queue transactions if we do not have enough time in a… · kszaq/linux-amlogic-le@bbef74b · GitHub
If this doesn't work, I'm afraid I can't help any further.
WOW!!!
The DACs on the USB-receivers XMOS 8U6C5 - Рeriodic crackling.
The distortion is gone. Were only periodic clicks.
Very similar as it was in the аssembly version 7.0.2.001 - 006 with other USB chip. I wrote here LibreELEC
This is progress! Thank you for remembering about us!
