For some reason, when I try to play a certain few of my files, Kodi freezes and reboots. This only happens on Libreelec and not on the stock firmware on my R-Box running android 6.x.

Yeah, that is something I have kind of concluded. I finally dissected the cover to see what kind of hardware I'm working with.
CZ-S32-V3 (DDR4)
220uF 10v capacitor
Fn-Link 8223A-SR WiFi a/b/g/n/ac/BT 4.1
Pulse H5007NL 1000baseT magnetics module
RealTek RTL8211F 10/100/1000 ethernet transceiver
2 x SpecTek PPE09-093 DG (top)
1 x SAMSUNG KLMAG2G4A-A001 16GB EMMC (top)
2 x Micron 6EA47 D9RSL (bottom)
GENESYS LOGIC GL850G USB 2.0 hub controller
DIOO Microcircuits DIO2133 audio driver
Then it's either an R-Box build or a hardware problem with your USB ports. Do other USB devices work as expected? Flash drives, DVD reader etc?
What image and device tree are you using.
The only other USB device I have tried was a USB corded mouse. It powers on the laser light but I do not see a pointer on the screen.
As for the device tree I am using, I believe it's the gxm_q200_k3_pro.dtb
I've used a Logitech K520/M31 combo (and K400/M185) on LE for RPi, IMX6 and S905X without issues.
Does it work on any other machine? If I remember correctly, I had to pair the devices first.
I'm currently using it on my Windows computer without issues. I've have also tried using a wired usb mouse on the R-Box with no luck either.
Can you advise the make and model of your K/B mouse and how the USB dongle is connected to your R-Box (Directly or via a hub - and if so is it a powered hub?}
Keyboard is a K330 and mouse is a M215. It was a combo set.
The dongle is connected directly to the R-Box. No hub since the unit has 4 usb ports.
New and still learning. I recall seeing a thread close to the topic but I cannot seem to find it.
I have an R-BOX PRO so If I can do it I can upload it to help others like me and make my contributions to LE AMLOGIC community
I'm already loving it since I can play my HD audio streams on the AVR now versus when I couldn't would Android on this TV box.
Yes, MB. I got kind of lazy the keyboard on that one thinking people would know what I mean. I'll just keep using what I got until I conclude the card is at fault--which may be a long time from now. Thanks again guys!
I have a generic brand(UNIREX) of micro SD card that says it has a speed of 50 mb on it. It's all I have at the moment to test LE install.
Would getting a faster card improve performance?
Running 8.2.4.2 on R-BOX PRO
AMLOGIC S912
3G RAM/16 EMMC
On microSD card
Super new to this stuff so point me in the right direction.
Would the usb port peripherals be related to the device tree I used?

I saw your remote and it looks exactly like mine for the R-BOX Pro. replaced the config file and now I got a working remote to get through the LIbreELEC and KODI initial setup!
THanks a bunch!
edit: Apparently the power button powers my Epson projector too. LOL.
Got the remote to work.
Copy and replaced the Remote.conf file with this one:
It matches the remote that came with my R-BOX Pro so I figured I give a try and Viola. works enough to get through the setup menu.
I'll try and get some free time to play with LibreELEC later on and update.
The micro SD card I am using if it matters is a UNIREX 32gb. supposedly with a 50mb max speed. Hopefully it doesn't cause me problems with playback.
Apparently from what I ready from the last release saying that a new dbt wasn't need.
I was using a micro SD USB adapter and trying all the dbt files and it would bring me up to the android recovery screen.
so I pulled out the micro SD and shoved it in the card slot on the box, rebooted and Libre ELEC loaded up.
Only issue now is I do not have any type of remote control or usb mouse to get through the setup.
The DBT file I used was gxm_kvim2.dtb
I failed to note at the bottom of the screen it says
Api: 3
Recovery is listening abd sideload...
Waiting abd sideload command...
E: cannot load volume /misc!
Using 8.2.4.1
Okay. switched around and used a USB port since the micro SD port isn't working for the sideload.
I'm at the android recovery screen and can't seem to figure which to use.
Menu says:
Reboot system now
Reboot to bootloader
apply update from EXT
apply update from cache
apply update from ABD
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
mount/system
view recovery logs
power off
What is ABD?
I installed the image onto a 32gb micro SD using Rufus,
powered down the box
inserted Micro SD into slot on box
held the reset button down and powered it on
The R-Box Pro screen displays and just stays there.
What am I doing wrong?
