Please could someone give me advice? I have Mecool M8S pro+ which has:
S905X, 2GB RAM.
Which file from Kszaq´s device trees should I use? I would like to run only Libreelec. So it would be best to install libreelec to internal eMMC.

before install to eMMC check the following thread (specifically the initial warning in red)

In 8.1.7 you can enable suspend/sleep mode manually:
- Go to \\Configfiles\sleep.conf.d (in Windows) or /storage/.config/sleep.conf.d (over SSH).
- Rename sleep.conf.sample to sleep.conf
- Open sleep.conf and remove this line: SuspendMode=false
- Reboot, enjoy.

This is not correct at all. I don't think you understand what I wrote in my earlier posts. I purposely disabled suspend in my builds. I think we need to end this discussion. Please wait for a solution.
yes, you're right..you cannot support "all" possible buggy firmwares/vendors.
Anyways, for those who want to go with the suspend enabled because their boxes supports it, here you go:

decompile dtb to dts format

change in dts source the led setting ( in bold )

but more than that, it does not shutdown anymore. it always restart, i ve to unplug the plug 
perhaps not on latest firmware?

i've noticed with latest 8.1.0 on S905 mini-mx 1GB that even when cpu cores are idling or <10-15% I get 75/80 C of temperature readings.
It gets really hot.
is it normal?

when i try to browse for nfs shares :
Videos> File > Add Videos > [browse] NETWORK FILE SYSTEM (NFS)
i get this generic error:

I can browse using zeroconf though..
nfs shares are exported from my NAS and can be mounted properly from Windows and Linux PC
Thanks a lot, I did as you said, install 8.0.0g via usb, then put the remote.config in the configfiles folder via ssh, and the key now turns off and turns on the box.

In builds with pre-Nougat kernel Kodi is not aware of fractional frame rates. Now it is. You have to set delay for fractional rates or it won't work.

Yeah, it worked for me as well, but the difference is it doesn't shut down at all no matter what I set so it would be useful for me to know how to bring it back.
the only way to have suspend function back is to revert this commit:
f855c2a ("Revert "projects/S905: configure systemd to disallow suspend and hibernation"", 2017-03-16)

Testing 12f (no temp disabled) on mini mx 1GB/8GB rom and seems to work fine after several reboot/power off..weird! what changed?
Can confirm also BT/WiFi works fine.
I'm gonna test longevity on the long run with this one build

update: tested with temp sensor enabled 3 full-hd movies in a playlist, found it stuck on picture, frozen, after ~3 hrs.
the box was still reachable via ssh. I had to restart kodi to recover since the gui was unresponsive
