Hi ! Hello everybody, I'm new here.
I ve got exactly the same problem on KODI 18.9 (adaptation by PATRICK) installed on an Asustor NAS. Sometimes (only sometimes !), font totally disapearing while reading a movie. Impossible to read any menu after, font totally disapear !
Same problem if I'm on an original KODI just afer installation or with Andromeda Skin v2 using OpenSans font.
Only way is to restart KODI.- What computer did you install Libreelec on ?
- Asustor NAS is a storage device, not a computer - as far as I know.
- What version of LE are you running ?
-
You might want to try an old version of OpenELEC. Google "old versions of openelec"
-
GMK says this in their advertisement: "Note: Do not install ubuntu and Linux systems unless absolutely necessary."
I don't know if this has anything to do with your problem

I found an Argon One Case Fix on YouTube. It may or may not be the problem.
-
Is the rpi4 connected directly to a TV or is there an AVR (Receiver) in the mix ?
-
You can get support here:
It has been broken since July according to a post there
-
Did you try power cycling the TV ? - pull the power cord from the wall for 1 hour and then plug it back in again ? I know it sounds silly but for some reason it has fixed a lot of CEC related issues. I think some TV's have a CEC "memory" and when there is any change (like changing versions of LE), it may remember the last setting.
Just a thought

After selecting UPDATE CHANNEL LibreELEC-10.0, go to "Available Versions" and select 10.0.1
-
Does this problem occur when playing files locally ? (not using your network)
-
I'm guessing you mean you would rather use external speakers rather than your TV's built-in speakers, right ? What is powering your external speakers ? Does this AMP or AVR have HDMI jacks ?
By the way, some TV's have an audio output jack, allowing you to connect it to your speaker's amp.

"My Subscriptions" should work similar to the browser version in Windows. "Watch Later" requires a special set-up which is available if you search the Kodi / YouTube Forum or ask there. I think "Search" works normally but I don't use it.
For 1080p and higher you'll need to install the latest version of InputStream Adaptive from the Libreelec Repository. Go to Addons > Install from repository > Libreelec repository > VideoPlayer InputStream and install it from there.

If you're running Libreelec 10, then download alpha6+matrix
The zip file you downloaded should be placed in a Libreelec shared folder. In Kodi, navigate to Addons and select "install from zip". Navigate to the zip file you downloaded and install it. You may have to sign in twice, generating new codes.

Alpha 5 has been released and it's supposed to fix the subtitles issue.
-
Others have reported subtitles not working either with Alpha 4, but they were with Alpha 1. It looks like the updates were released a little too quickly.
-
They Just released Alpha 4 which contains a fix to Subtitles
oops - didn't see that someone posted this before me

I see there are buffering issues, but I can't get that far.
I have never done this before.I went to the website that the addon tells me to and watch the video.
But at 0.57, the video alters from what i can see on my screen.
They click on 'API key'.
I don't have that.
Thanks. There may be new instructions for generating your own API Keys. Post your questions on Kodi's addon forum here: Kodi's YouTube Addon Support Thread
