im useing a HTPC with libreelec , and what i see somtimes is when my stream(IPTV) is encouters some problems/hanging/ stopping . it could result in a complete hangup of the HTPC

Are more people have this somtimes ? could this be a hardware problem, ?

It's usually a problem with the IPTV source and/or bandwidth. Share a Kodi debug log and we might be able to tell more.

That a IPTV stream if stopping/buffering or even is hanging . ok.. but really could it be possible that it results in a complete system hangup? . i have to reboot the system. ok i will try to make a log file at post it ,

That shows a box that boots with no network connection and then does nothing. Probably because it's a crash log and not the normal kodi.log

with not network connection . yes, i have problems with that. In windows i never had problems with it. But with libreelec i have that problem. Why?, i do not know. The network is connected with a wire not wifi . Maybe old hardware problem(motherboard is 7years old) ?. With this problem and normal boot libreelec the IPTV channels will not be loaded. So i enabled in kodi "wait untill network is present"

On which line could you see no netwrk connection at the log ?

OK i will upload an new kodi.log this weekend , then i will wacht IPTV again

It fails to access several resources that are online and spews python errors that are all about a lack of connectivity - from which I deduce the network is not up, which is usually caused by slow loading network drivers. Delaying Kodi in LE settings for 5-10 seconds normally solves that.

Could it be a problem of the IPTV simply Client add-on is not stable ? At the configuration of the simply client i see a text something like not 100% tested etc. Is a TVhearded(front and read ) not more stable add-on ????

That means you are using IPTV simply client also for IPTV . With no hangups of PC ? but what is mostly see is that it is very normal that IPTV stream will hang sometimes. I have a paid IPTV stream, and tested a few stream providers .

I don't debate theoretical issues. Provide a Kodi debug log .. or there is no problem.

I think in Kodi should be enabled Debug mode. Then kodi.log will tell more info.

For me IPTV simply client was newer 100% stable. Just like Kodi itself is not. But it doesn't freeze my whole Kodi - it only freezes for some time. But I'm still on Kodi 17.3
