I have this on both my C2's. I'm a little bit worried that my EMMC wears out

I don't think it is related, but your SSL certifcate gives an error:

I'm building from LE's repo.

git fetch; git reset --hard origin/libreelec-8.0

I looked through some older logfiles I found on the C2, the error start showing between 19-03-2017 (devel-20170311095253-r25473-g7948131) and 08-04-2017 (devel-20170407183152-r25538-gee22bb0).

I'll go through the commit history, see if I can find something related.

Build finished, the error is still present but it only shows 2 times: CJNd

I'll build with the updated amlogic kernel now to see if that gives me the error from post 1.

After some builds I found out the commit causing the errors from post 1. It's commit linux: bump linux-amlogic to 20791e8 · LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv@5ff2b1a · GitHub which has been merged in commit Merge pull request #1598 from chewitt/drop_patch_8 · LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv@d7ff410 · GitHub

It seems like LE loads module rtc_pcf8563 for the RTC addon shield prdt_info.php?g_code=G146000366985

I don't think many users have this addon, so I think it is best to disable this by default?

For now I've created the file /etc/modprobe.d/disable-rtc_pcf8563.conf and added the following to it:

blacklist rtc_pcf8563
