Does the cam work for the TechnoTrend connect S2-3650 CI device?

I had the same CAM. The "Irdeto" decryption isn't in use anymore. You can safely throw it into the dumpster, like I did.

I'm using a CAM for Vodafone cable TV. No idea what works for satellite TV.
You have to figure out two facts:
Which satellite channels do you want to watch?
Which decryption methods do they use (I know they don't use Irdeto anymore)?
When you know the decryption method of your favorite TV channels, buy the CAM and the smart card for them.
The old days of hacked TV channels and card sharing are over.

Most receivers /TVs have a CAM menu. That's where you can detect it.

Which cards? I don't know any active Irdeto cards. If you want to use piracy cards, then this is the wrong forum.

The CAM is correctly detected, but not the card inside of the CAM. That means CAM and card don't fit together.

NB: If Yemen is anything like the UAE, you need to visit the local computer souq and find the guy that specialises in satellite things, and they will know how to set-up the right software/hardware to make things work (insh'allah). In this forum you'll only find people that understand how to make things work in the EU and maybe US, but not Middle-East countries.

I think the card will work with your TechnoTrend receiver, but you need a different CAM.
A CAM is an own little computer with its own little menu. So it's possible that the CAM can read some data (keys, card number, IKE?) from the inserted card. However, that still doesn't mean that CAM and card work together, so you could watch TV.
You have to find the right CAM for your card. Normally CAM and card work together without any setup or menu diving. Ask the people, who gave you the card, which CAM you should use with it. Here in Germany it's possible to buy or rent a CAM. Maybe you also have those options in Yemen.
