his picture is of an Irdeto Access CI+ CAM from the Irdeto company. And this is exactly the reason for the problem I mentioned.
Why it doesn't work with TT-3650 CI:
1. CI+ CAM and CI card only
TT-3650 supports only CI 1.3. The Irdeto one in the picture is labeled CI+.
CI+ and CI 1.3 are different protocols. When you insert a CI+ into a CI card, a conflict occurs and you get the green screen and freezing even on open channels.
2. The CAM always works even if the channel is free
The Irdeto CI+ CAM forces itself on the card and demands encryption even if the channel is FTA. TT-3650 doesn't understand this request and the decoder gets messed up, which is why you see green colors and breaking.
3. Draws extra power
CI+ CAMs draw 0.5A. The USB port of TT-3650 provides at most 0.5A, so the CAM heats up and causes problems.
The proof that the problem is from the CAM: You said yourself: 'When I remove the CAM, the open channel works without problems.' If the problem were from the card or the driver, it would still be there even after removing the CAM. Since it disappears when you remove the CAM= the CAM is incompatible.
