[x86-64] Best LE 13 Nightly for Intel N150 (Alder Lake-N)

  • Thanks chewitt I will have a look at how to do the clean log in debug mode next - might take me a while. It is pretty easy now to reproduce the issue. But since I posted earlier today I was playing around a bit further, and the blank screens and audio dropout is happening whether HDR or not. So interestingly, it looks like on v13 it isnt related to HDR. On v12 I could disable HDR and the problem went away, on v13 that isn't the case. I have also played with adjust refresh rates on start/stop to off and turned off HDR - neither have made any difference. I don't get any audio dropouts in 4k HDR or dolby atmos. Even after playing a stand def 480 old version of a film, when stopped playback I lost the screen and HDMI couldnt detect the signal.

  • It does not solve anything. It is more like a ugly hack to get hdmi signal back without kodi or box restart.

Sometimes when switching resolution or refresh hdmi signal is lost. As far as i saw in the forum i am not alone with this and it seams to be Denon related. My hack just plays 3x 2sec clips with different refresh rates. It is further up in this thread where i state what workarounds i use.

  • That sounds like an insufficient response/timeout value in the DRM code somewhere. I'd look, but i915/xe have a bazillion lines of code so it would be needle-in-haystack for my ignorant eyeballs. If you have time/access (and importantly, the hardware) perhaps ask an AI tools to look for it?

  • Hi - I have finally been able to work out how to create a log file. But it is just over 1.5Mb and so none of the paste bins seem to work. Is there any other option?

Neither of these files are HDR, the first is star wars in 1080 and then The Party in 480 SD as so old. Both worked when played first and then both broke - leaving the screen blank as the signal was dropped. I ran sky42 script which is in the logs.
