Hey escalade,
I've installed the Haswell version in my chromebox (using UEFI from MrChromeBox) and it doesn't boot, maybe it doesn't contain bootable uefi?
The generic one from 12-07-2017 boots fine tho.
-
Does your chromebox have a haswell cpu?
-
escalade Well, it have the Celeron 2955U CPU, It says on Intel website that it belongs to Haswell family.
-
I think the celeron does not have the same instruction set even if it's haswell gen, that's why you can't boot it.

Ah ok. I'll use the generic one then. Thanks!

escalade Is there a way you can update the makemkv addon? Im using LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.0-devel-20170712.img and am getting:
Codemakemkvcon info dev:/dev/sr0 MakeMKV v1.8.5 linux(x64-release) started Profile parsing error: default profile missing, using builtin default The new version 1.10.6 is available for download at http://www.makemkv.com/download This application version is too old. Please download the latest version at http://www.makemkv.com or enter a registration key to continue using the current version.
When I try to run it. I put the key in setttings.conf but still get:
Any ideals or can someone point me to a way to compile makemkv addon? TIA.

Working !!
Thank you..

Never seen that error before, no idea.
Sure, 1.10.6 uploaded. The source is the documentation.
-
escalade Thanks! That seemed to take care of the issues!

I was reading the Kodi forum and someone mentioned there that your build supports the Nvidia 10 series cards, well I have just a quick question for if you don't mind - are your builds capable of 4K UHD HDR playback using Nvidia cards? I currently have a Core i37100 with Nvidia GTX 1050Ti card running Windows 10 and everything is fine for 4K HDR playback but I would prefer to go back to using Libreelec for my HTPC. From all the reading I've done it's just not possible at the moment and may never be so I was curious when the Kodi forum says your builds support the Nvidia 10 series cards.
Thank you for your time.

hello
Why he doesn't work for me ?
same error to my last message : 1498930355-img-20170701-192902.jpg
I use : LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.0-devel-20170712.img
Nvidia ION chipset ( Acer Aspire REVO R3610-U9022 Specs - CNET ) maybe the problem ?
(acer aspre revo R3610)
thanks

Not possible atm.
Had to cut the legacy drivers in the last builds due to size. Try 20170709.

Hey escalade
Planning to buy a new NUC for HTPC to use your excellent build on! Between new i3 (HD620 @ $348 Slim-Amazon) and i5 (HD640 @ $402 Slim-Amazon) what you'll pick up..? Those $54 diff buy 4GB of memory for the i3! I understand hungrier emu on your build is for dolphin... but plan to run games not beyond 1080p...
Cheers!

I'd go for the best.

Do you know if an Asus PCE-AC68 PCI-E 802.11AC card was removed? PCE-AC68 | Networking | ASUS USA
I can't seem to get my wifi working in your build. I'll try stock Libreelec and see if I have the same problem.
Edit: I just tried stock Libreelec and my wifi card works fine there. Any chance the PCE-AC68 can be added back?
