The latest generic leagcy version that was running was 20250412f02c670 from that build on all the newest versions result in a black screen with blinking mouse indicator. I am running a multiboot system. Any advise is appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Do we have to guess what hardware you are using? .. esp. the GPU type/model.
I noticed that also ,I checked every build after 20250412 ,none is working.Im pretty sure its a known problem ,nvidia new gpx drivers.
maybe even newer drivers will work (beta)?
My hardware is intel cpu with nvidia 1030 gpu.

no guessing at all. AMD 5700x3d, nvidia rtx a2000 12gb version, asrock ab350 gaming itx-ac
do i get ignored?
If you still have SSH access in black screen mode, login, and grab a log.
sorry that doesn´ t make sense, if i have a black screen how should i enable debugging for the version that is causing the problem? or is debugging still enabled when i do an update to a newer version?
Sorry, the default instructions don't work for you. Enable log level 1 by creating an advancedsettings.xml. Then reboot, login again, and use pastekodi to get the URL of the log.
You could try booting from the LE Live disc, then when that is fully loaded, remove the usb drive and select reboot. If that doesn't work you should at least be able to access your LE install from the live environment and recover/debug from there.
I have been having your same problem since installing 12.0.2, on fairly different HW: an HP stream laptop... so probably not a gpu driver issue. Calling up the boot menu on restart and then manually selecting the install drive also works for me. I am guessing a boot manager issue?
nvidia rtx a2000 12gb version
nVidia support is currently broken in LE13 nightlies and might take a while to fix as nobody on staff has anything to-hand that can run the offending 570.xx drivers: we have been telling users to avoid nVidia GPU purchases for years and it seems we have heeded our own advice. It probably needs a motivated user to figure out the issue and send a fix. If the card is also supported by the older 550.xx driver you can use older nightlies.

i am currently using the nightly from 12.04.2025 generic leagcy, it is the last working version.

good guess, grub2 for windows. We are talking about a triple boot system win10, libreelec, batocera. Since the nightly from 14.04.2025 all was working

I guess it would be cool to compare working and non-working logs. What do you think?

Hey
New nvidia driver
Driver Version: 570.153.02
Release Date: Mon May 19, 2025
Fixed a bug that could cause OpenGL applications and compositors to stall when using NVIDIA as a PRIME Display Offload sink ("Reverse PRIME"), potentially resulting in a black screen.
Might fix it i hope because im also waiting for LE13 generic-legacy nightlys to work again
Regards

Is it helpful to create a log when we know it's a Nividia driver issue? Serious question...
