I have several RPi3 and RPi4 and use Aeon8 on them all. I want to stay with Aeon8, (Aeon9 sill has a lot of bugs) so I am limited to Kodi 18.9 and LibreElec 9.2.8.
May I install LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-9.2.8.img.gz on RPi5?

Nope, that doesn't work. For RPi5 you need bleeding edge LE, like a nightly build or the upcoming LE 12.0.2.

You have a problem with an add-on. Ask for an update at Kodi forum, where most add-on devs are.

LE 9.2.8 shipped in July 2021 so it has zero support for the RPi5 hardware released 2+ years later in September 2023, and the change from legacy RPi decoders (OMX, MMAL, etc.) in 9.x to GBM/V4L2 in 10.x onwards means you can't even frankenstein something with the old codebase and newer kernel/firmware (without foregoing all hardware decoding).
