new issue on new libeelec box

    I now have my new libeelec box running on pi5. I have migrated over all the setting over from libeelec 9

    including the DB files

    • sources.xml
    • passwords.xml
    • addon_data
    • thumbnails

    • running Nightly 202412131-699af08

      When I go to add the Nord Vpn Add in I get failed to attempt to install add-on from zip file.....cy.on xbmc python version 2.7.0 could not be satisfied

    Probably the addon wasn't updated for a long time, python 2.x versions no more supported.
    If you're lucky, enough to change in the "addon.xml" (in the addon zip) the python version.

    Just take the confs from the VPN provider and tweak them to work on LE instead of Ubuntu or whatever distro is documented on their help pages. The confs are normally self-contained with certs/ca details embedded. I'd expect only paths might need changing.
