VDR service bug in v7.90.009

  • Hey,

I'm running LibreElec on a Raspberry Pi B+ and the VDR server service will not start up when the system reboots.

If I try to start the service via console (SSH) I get the error:

    Code
vdr: libsqlite3.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I can get the service running if I update the VDR addon (it's already on the latest version [v8.1.103] but this seems a necessary step [I choose v8.1.103 from the list and hit the update button] -- it pauses for a couple seconds then gives the "successful update" message), and then alter any configuration setting and then finally exit from the configuration menu. As soon as I exit the configuration menu the VDR server starts and the front end then grabs the data and everything is back to normal.

Everything runs fine until I reboot, then VDR doesn't start up again and I have to repeat the above procedure to get it to start.

    Thanks.

  • Sorry, I don't follow.

As I posted, LibreElec is v7.90.009 (Kodi Krypton) and all addons have been updated.

VDR itself is v2.2.0 as provided in the LibreElec addon package v8.1.103
