I just ftp tar file to update folder then reboot?

New RC3 only change is the remote configuration fixedProbably some hardware fluke on the box, where the reinstall or even just a few extra resets made it work again as it should.
Thanx again. On a related note, are you thinking of making a Kodi/Lakka combined built or is that too not an option?

Lakka has no kodi, Lakka has only Retroarch and Its GUI. PS3-Like

Lakka has no kodi, Lakka has only Retroarch and Its GUI. PS3-LikeI know, and it works like a charm, but for instance on my 905 box I'm using a plugin in Kodi to start retroarch. So i was just wondering if you could add retroarch on LE with the required libs and find a way to start it, though I'm trying to multi-boot first with Lakka on USB, which will work good enough
(I'm using this Kodi plugin on my 905: [LibreELEC] Run RetroArch on your S905/S905X device! - FreakTab.com )

Alright, the link is not working, but is this the right link?
AndroidFileHost.com | Download GApps, PA GApps, Roms, Kernels, Themes, Firmware and more. Free file hosting for all Android developers(trying to boot this from USB at the moment, but stuck on logo, also after putting the right dtb on there)
(P.S. maybe good to start a new thread for this, I think many more will be interested, and they might overlook it here) -
you have to use the sdcard
will support usb booting laters
I dont want to mess up le forums with lakka we have our own. -
I tried to update rc3 via update folder so that remote would work. Rebooted le and seen that it was updating, then when the box restarted i get the recovery screen with android dude on his back with red triangle. Any ideas it was the rc3 m8 tar?

Hah, from SD the 905 version works great so far. Picked up USB ps3 controller directly, N64 is close to perfect, and Megadrive and Snes worked perfctly.
Couldn't get overlays working as I use them normally though. Shader performance not optimised for amlogic so slow as expected.I'll post on the Lakka forums for the rest -
avd dont know what you did as you didnt give much info but better for you to start fresh.

i have reverted back to android stock rom then i have tried to install from micro sd card with the 2 files on the card. Then i have tried to boot from usb stick but still no joy. I dont know what im doing wrong as it worked the other day. It just keeps booting back into android.
