Libreelec 12.0 HDR not being detected on LG CX65 TV

    Hello,

    I have just done a fresh install of LE 12.0 on my mini-itx box. It is a 5600g CPU on a ASRrock B550M-ITX motherboard. Under the system info>Video tab it is showing me "Display supported HDR types: None" When my tv supports all major HDR formats to my knowledge. I have tried different cables and inputs on my TV and it is the same. It does play the 4K HDR files but it is displaying as SDR but the colors are fine.

    I hooked this box up to my TV upstairs as well which is a Samsung TV and it detects HDR10 which is all that TV supports. Any ideas on what to do? My GUI is set to 4k resolution @ 60.00hz.

    How to post a log (wiki)

    1. Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging
    2. Restart Kodi
    3. Replicate the problem
    4. Generate a log URL (do not post/upload logs to the forum)

    use "Settings > LibreELEC > System > Paste system logs" or run "pastekodi" over SSH, then post the URL link

    You probably need to enable HDR modes for specific HDMI sockets. Something like "Enhanced Mode" or "Deep Colour Mode" or such (there is no standard term).

    All the settings on the TV were set to the ones mentioned above. I ended up solving this by reflashing the libreelec image on my thumbdrive and reinstalling. Now it is working without any issues! Thanks for your suggestions everyone
