Skins are often not feature-complete. So my ESP says, your skin is the reason.
I understand that skins can cause problems, but in my second profile, I want to add widgets that include many adjustments that I don't want to create again at some point. I didn't have this problem in Windows.

Switch to the default skin "Estuary", make adjustments, and then go back to your feature-incomplete custom skin.
-
The problem is that I can only make the adjustments in the Arctic Zephyr reloaded skin and not in the default skin. The fact that the skin settings in the Master Profile were not saved sounds more like a storage problem with LE, as I use the customized skin in Kodi on my laptop and the adjustments never disappeared.

Two options:
- go to the Kodi forum, and ask the skin developer for an update
- provide a log, as mentioned by chewitt

How can I share or view the log file in LibreELEC?

Read: https://wiki.libreelec.tv/support/log-files
Note that "profiles" support in Kodi is often a little broken, and trying to copy things between different OS often fails due to different install locations and \\path\to\files in Windows is not the same as /path/to/files in Linux. Lots of scope for incompatibilty and that's before you roll dice with custom skins.

Sometimes you got help more quickly from google, than waiting for somebody to prepare the answer for you.
