Yeah I used that when I would build my own version of LE to try to include a realtek wifi driver for one I had laying around. Never worked fully and I gave up just cause driver support for them is shoddy. I meant more of the boot loader settings etc that he was changing.

Btw, ilmich put it on my sd card and both green and red led's light up, no HDMI output. So not sure what next steps would be. Wish had serial cable for it to see if anything is being output to serial.

Hi FurmanSK, the next step is to ask librecomputer folks to upstream some code for ddr3 reclocking.
I found the post you made on the board's forum and I seem to have understood that nothing can be done for now unless you use distributions based on BSP code (android).
I don't have your board so I can test myself.

But have you tried with libreelec 10?

Yeah I've tried LE 10, and I think it wouldn't even run at 1080p. Can't remember, been a couple weeks. Don't believe it would even play 4K ones on my 4K TV unless it would reset the resolution when playing but I didn't see anything in the whitelist for playback resolutions. I can try again but yeah I remember giving up once it had issues doing full resolution.

FurmanSK if whitelist is empty you must populate it. But be patient, I'll try to build an unofficial build for you with some patches from my unofficial builds for rk3229.

just to verify that my intuition is correct, I reused the legacy bootloader and ported a couple of kodi patches that are in Omega that increase performance.

Remember that decoding 4k contents and smooth UI at 4k resolution are different. So please try with a lower UI resolution, and let kodi player switch to 4k when needed.

Dear ilmich, could you increase the frequencies for this file? I have a chip, RK3318, and I used LibreELEC-RK3328.arm-11.0.1-a1.img.gz. Unfortunately, I can barely play 1080p and 720p. When I use the Netflix plugin, I can only play VP9 because when I activate H264, the video simply doesn't appear. The model of my TV box is 'HK1 Max,' a circular model. Regards,"

Hi FurmanSK thanks to Chewitt and Da from Librecomputer, I have ordered this board and it should arrive soon so I can do the necessary tests. I will keep you updated, surely if I can improve something it will happen in libreelec 12.

Hi FurmanSK the first attempt was bad (I think I ruined the board maybe using a bad power supply).. I have another one coming and I should be able to try and develop with this board.
