LE 11.0 added lvm2, luks (dm-crypt, veracrypt), mdraid, ext4 encryption

latest is 11.0.5-240124

If you have any problems please install offcial LibreELEC version on which my build is based on and test again. If the problem is the same it is most likely not my build.

If you dont use any of the following additions i made, then my images have no benefit for you and you should use the official build.

the following was added in my community build:

- /flash 1024MB
- no GUI tools for the encryptiom, lvm2 or mdraid
- enable kernel config for lvm2 and snapshots (no cache, no thin)
- added lvm2 tools (config is under /storage/.config/lvm)
- enable kernel config for software raid with lvm2 and standalone with mdraid
- added mdraid to control linux software raid
- enable kernel config for dm-crypt to use cryptsetup (compatible with luks, veracrypt, truecrypt)
- added cryptsetup to manage encrypted block devices with luks, veracrypt and some more
- enabled /etc/crypttab support in systemd
- enable kernel config for ext4 filesystem encryption
- added fscryptctl to manage ext4 encryption
- enable kernel config for more crypto modules and options
- curl: enable protocol support for scp, sftp, smb, smbs
- versions: cryptsetup-2.6.1, lvm2-2.03.16, fscryptctl-1.1.0, mdadm-4.2

Builds are done for all official LE 11 supported architectures.

I booted so far only Generic-legacy and RPi4, but not anything about encryption, lvm2 or software raid is tested.

the download link issue is still not fixed. error 404 for me as well, but after investigation it seems linked to hsts which try to redirect http over https.

So http url works, https don't and give error 404. More over reaching the root of the subdomain reveal your own hosted webmail.

You are right sky42.libreelec.tv is http only and with TLS it lands on my webmail. I dont like that, but that is not new and like this for ever. Lets see if i can fix that.

Download Server will be moved and then it will be SSL only (with redirect from 80 -> 443).
After the DNS change is done the SSL Cert will be invalid.
When DNS is done i will activate a valid letsencrypt cert.

Another issue, it seems we can't upgrade from within libreelec update interface, it seems your repo miss some metadata. can you fix that?

Yes my repo is not prepared to update from within LE.

I know.

For that I need to put some effort to create a releases.json, but so far I had not the nerve to do it.

if your repo is php enabled it can be easy puting a releases.json that just recurse the directory. I can try to write something if you want?

No interpreter on my download server by choice.

Pure static html.

I need to wrestle with Python that creates the Json, but my filenames are not exactly what LE uses. In the past I changed it but not for 10 or 11 so far.
