You did tell him where to look. In fairness a copy of the log would help. I’m curious to know what changed for this to happen.

I assume you used the O key on the keyboard to monitor what was being outputted by TVH to LE and watched it closely.
No I saw that the picture freezed when there were some artefacts in the freezed frame - then thought logical and searched for an option in TVH to avoid this …

Did you try toggle the hardware acceleration as I suggested earlier.
Yes SW decoding works without this setting in TVH …
Bit I did not want to spend 80% CPU for decoding

Turning off hardware acceleration seems to have solved my issues, thanks for helping me out. I did quite a bit of research, but I still find it hard to navigate information about LE/Kodi/TVHeadend and where to find and setup what, but I am getting there thanks to you guys.
