does anyone build LE with GBM and HDR for Intel platforms?

HDR is mind-bendingly complicated. Some bits should work. Other bits are not implemented. Other bits are .. go test and tell us

Are all the patches for HDR smp uses in his builds already in the nightlies?

I assume things like Dolby Vision and HDR10+ wont work but basic HDR videos should.

I hope smp does one more (new Atmos fixes in Kodi). His last one from October is still in use here with only issues: some Atmos releases have audio skips and interlaced video not playing with same settings as HDR, but I can work around that easily and I don’t have much interlaced media.

I will compile an updated build at some point.

lrusak's Kodi HDR branch hasn't been updated since September. HDR commits from that branch don't apply to a current Kodi master.

ah ok

do you know if the commits in current LE 11 nightlies work for NUC6 like your builds? or will the LE 11 official builds only be for NUC8+?

I cant flash nightly as it keeps saying md5 error for some reason. Will try on next nightly.

I read ages ago the Intel HDR Linux code worked for NUC6 and later (hence SMPs builds work on your NUC6).

Yeah but he said not all the patches he used are in LE 11 Nightlies. So maybe nightlies HDR will only work on newer NUCs.
