hi people, does anyone know how to properly setup libreelec on raspberypi pi 4b 8GB ram with an old tv using composite video cable?

This will work, if you add composite options to config.txt. Read Composite video mode options to find the right options for your TV.

just that you are aware, the calibrate feature at kodi is broken for composite output for some time, the settings are not saved correctly and are gone after reboot

what do you mean? If I change the config.txt to be compatible with conposite and boot it on a composite and when i change it back to the default configuration.txt i will have problems?

No problems if you have no need to calibrate. Give it a shot.
