Prevent Kodi from running with more than FullHD on 4K TV

    Hi,

    i have a 4K TV but want to run kodi with only FullHD resolution because the hardware isn't fast enough run smoothly. I have set the resolution to 1920x1080 but sometimes its changed to 4k and i have to change it manually. Is there any way to prevent kodi from changing the resolution to more than 1920x1080?

    Setttings > System > Display > Whitelist .. add the specific resolution/refresh rates that you want Kodi to use, e.g. [email protected]/24/50/59.95/60 (skip 25/29.97 if you have interlaced media) and in Settings > Player enable "Adjust display refresh rate to" start/stop.
