“Connection refused” on first try with Putty. Rp4, Pimoroni case, Libreelec 9.2.1 image, Win 10 desktop. Added empty ssh file to build with notepad++ no joy. Pings successfully. The LibreELEC usb-sd creator doesn’t provide any options for enabling ssh. I checked the config.txt and the cmdline.txt all look good. Where do I go from here? Thanks in advance for your reply

Added empty ssh file
That is a prehistoric and deprecated option.
The SSH enable option comes in during the 'Welcome wizard'.
You can't miss it, really.

Also note that SSH in LE doesn't support a load of ancient/insecure ciphers. If you have a really old version of PuTTY it won't work. If you have a semi-recent version it will work.
