4k 60p nicht möglich 4K 60p not possible

Moin Zusammen,

morning folks,

ich habe gerade die neuste Version (LibreELEC 9.1.501) für den rpi4 installiert.

installed the newest Version of Libreelec on rpi4

Um die Frequenz von 30Hz auf 60Hz zu bekommen habe ich laut: LibreELEC (Leia) 9.2 Beta1 – LibreELEC

to change libreelec from 30 Hz to 60Hz i've edited the config.txt in Libreelec and add the line showing below.

In Kodi kann ich zwar (wie vorher auch) die entsprechende Auflösung von 3840 × 2160 Pixel einstellen aber wie bisher nur 30Hz an Bildwiederholungsfrequenz.

in Kodi i'm able to choose 3840x2160P but only with 30Hz.

yes, i changed the HDMI Settings in my TV to enhanced mode.

Was genau mache ich falsch?

What am i doing wrong?

As librelec.tv forum is English You have greater chance of getting answers if You ask Your questions in,well, English...

Check your TV settings, on quite a lot of sets you need to manually enable "Ultra Deep Colour" or some similar setting on the HDMI port you're using. Had to do that on my LG 55C8, otherwise 4:4:4 subsampling isn't enabled and 4kp60 isn't available.

Bei meinem samsung bravia A1 (kd-55a1t) unterstützen nur hdmi port 2 & 3 deep color, 4:4:4 usw. Probier mal die anderen ports, evtl. musst du dazu noch irgendwas in den einstellungen deines fernsehers aktivieren..

For non german speaking users:

he gets only 30hz output, even though he sets the appropriate setting in config.txt.

I told him, that my bravia a1 only supports 4:4:4 on hdmi ports 2 and 3, and that he probably has to activate some setting for deep color in his tv, depending on his model.

Indeed, this is an english forum and so on, but we are a very nice and helpful community, aren't we?

on this day, i've posted in a few german boards and was totally in the tunnel....:)

thanks for your help (in english and german) but that didn't helped me out.

First, i changed the HDMI Mode on my TV (KD-65XF9005) to enhanced mode (4K (50, 60 Hz) mit YCbCr 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:2:2, YCbCr 4:2:0/10 Bit-, RGB-, HDR) but i didnt change the settingstab in Libreelec. No 60Hz to choose...

i have a ks8000 and i figured out that my 60z 4k option is located under 3840x2160p.

before adding hdmi_enable_4kp60=1, my options were limited to 4096x2160p @ 30hz and 3840x2160p at 30hz.

after enabling hdmi_enable_4kp60=1, my options changed. the 4096x2160p @ 30hz remained, but 3840x2160p now has 27, 29, 30, 59 and 60hz.

i enabled 3840x2160p @ 60hz and all is well. pi runs hotter but who cares, only a few degrees warmer while running libreelec.

i personally have another issue. for some reason, sometimes there is a resolution glitch and the pi tv just goes black. the pi is running because i can SSH into it. if i unplug the pi for 5 minutes and plug it back in, everything is back to normal. i'll have to make my own thread.

I have Sony KD-75XF9005, I have turned on enhanced format and I have hdmi_enable_4kp60=1 with a cable that I know supports 4k60Hz (works on a Philips 4k tv I have just fine). I am using HDMI Input 3 as well which on the sony tv has support for enhanced format (HDMI 2 and 3)
