I didn't hear of anyone building LE for XU4, so best to ask in Odroid forums.

There is no LE for XU4.

XU4 has a completely different chipset, so imagine it would require a bit of work.

It's not that simple. As far as I know no developer has a XU4. -

Actually, I flashed LibreELEC-Odroid_XU3.arm-8.0-devel-20161004195217-r23907-gb0a1a38.img.gz on my XU4 and boot fine, but after showing LibreELEC logo I only get a blank image.
I open an issue here, and I hope someone read it. -
