I thought i would register here to post what i have found by reading all the way to the end of the internet

from what i found, this is an issue when scummvm is compiled directly on the raspberry pi from the Repo (again, im a newb, my wording might be wrong), so i found one that was manually compiled on a computer, i have attached it here, you can manually install this version on your PI and it should work (it works for me)

i can host this for now on my private server but if someone could host it somewhere public that would be appreciated :

game.libretro.scummvm-2.1.1.9.1.zip

i just switched from LibreELEC 9.2.8 for RPi3 to the new offical LibreELEC 10.0.2 for RPi3 and i have to say, unfortunately i have the issue again with the ScummMV add-on (v2.1.1.23.1)...
the add-on does not start on LibreELEC 10.0.2

yes we still face the same issue and still can't reproduce what happens

we switch to a new buildings infrastructure soonish so our hopes are high this is fixed or we can at least reproduce it

i switched to the new ubuntu 22.04 LTS and it seems there are some build dependency i can't resolve.

Try using the docker build. It covers off the dependencies.

Isn't still reproducible on build server if the issue is still present.

it is always broken at the buildserver, but we have no direct access so debuging is a bit difficult

the problem should solve itself the one or the other way
