8.90.003 X86 Vsync missed frames

Running LE v8.90.003 Alpha with an i7-4790k and GTX 970. Playerprocessinfo shows increasing number of missed frames (no drop or skipped frames).

Not sure if this is a release issue or hardware issue.

Do you experience the same issue with 8.2.5? If not then it's a possible issue.

I do experience the same issue with 8.2.5.

1080p content on both versions plays fine. 4k content seems to drop more on 8.2.5

Did you go through the process of whitelisting refresh rates (else Kodi will play everything at 60Hz)? .. and since it's an nVidia card the OOB modelines are not particularly accurate and it's possible to use a manual xorg.conf and tweak them to be more accurate.
